Escape to Medford!

So this past weekend - I went on a road-trip with my roomie Mr. Jason Mentzer. We headed out to Medford, OR to see a lady friend of his. I often kick myself for never getting out enough and seeing what this state has to offer. Its like I only make 3 trips a year to another part of OR - Hell, I make more trips back the ol' Bay.

Anyways we left after work on Friday - and hit the road. I actually took some pics this time!

Anyways - We got a sweet deal for lodging thanks to my awesome sister. Springhill Suites are pretty kick ass - we got a nice LCD tv for our room!

The night was fairly short - meet the lady friend. She seemed nice enough

Next day - we started off with a task I seem to always complete in a strange town.......... check out the local mall.

Anyways after the mall - we headed to the OREGON VORTEX!!!!

Ever been to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz......... we this is exactly the same thing! A complete waste of 9 dollars. Ok, thats not fair - our trip did provide some good material for jokes throughout the rest of our trip.

Me & Jason went to see the Dark Knight later that day and it kicked major ass - just like everyone said. Later that evening we went to a local bar called - SHANANIGANS!! Awesome huh? I included some crappy cell phone pics from inside the bar - including one that I tried to have taken of me under the lighted sign

Actually my new cell took most of these photos so I think it did ok.

Anyways - Thats a wrap on this trip for now.
